Alevel数学
A-Level基础数学一共有六个单元，六册课本，六次考试。这六个单元分别是Pure Mathematics 1-4（即P1、P2、P3、P4），外加两个组合单元。组合单元可以是机械数学、统计学或决策数学。
基础数学是所有学习A-Level课程的中国学生的必选科目。
主要原因有三：
1.数学是中国学生普遍最擅长的科目，也是基础教育阶段中国最有优势的科目之一。
2.国外大学的理科、工科、商科专业在录取学生的时候，普遍要求学生提交数学成绩，数学也是将来学生在国外大学学习大部分专业的基础课。
3.相对于其他科目，数学对学生语言能力要求最低，学生可以相对容易的介入A-Level全英文课程学习，树立信心，为学习其他科目做好准备。
